Here'a closer look at the NJSIAA sectional finals involving teams from the Open Mike area.
Matches will be contested on Friday at 7 p.m., except for the North 2, Group 3 final between Warren Hills and Roxbury, which is set for noon on Saturday. Winners advance to Sunday's Group championships at the Pine Belt Arena on the campus of Toms River North High School.
North 1 Group 2

Chris Kallensee (21-7) 138; Sr. Danny Lynch (25-4, D4) 145; Sr. Tyler Kallensee (24-5, D3-12), 152; Sr. Vincent Cariddi (26-3, D2, R4) 160; Jr. Ethan Lolk (7-16), 170; Sr. Alex Kim (14-13), 182; Fr. Andreas Harilaou (4-9), 195; So. Joe Longobardi (22-8), 220; Jr. John Buller (16-12), 285.
HP, Fr. Chase Babus (13-16), 106; Fr. Aric Wingle (9-10), 113; Jr. Dom Gallo (24-5, D1, R4), 120; So. Garrett Fenlon (0-13), 126; Jr. Mike Derin (25-6, D1, R1, S8), 132; Jr. Ryan Cullen (13-12), 138; Jr. Jason Gaccione (27-4, D2, R1, S4), 145; Sr. Chris Auer (18-11, D3), 152; Sr. Tommy Hooker (19-11, D3), 160; Sr. Colby Brands (14-15), 170; Sr. Antonio Porraspita (20-11, D2), 182; Sr. Kyle Stoll (27-5, D1, R1, S6), 195; Sr. Bobby McDonnell (17-14, D2, R2), 220; Sr. Gunny Wassong (12-5, D2), 285.
Sectional titles: River Dell 2 (1985, 2008); High Point 23 (1984, '86, '87, '88, '89, '90, '91, '92, '94, '95, '96, '97, '01, '02, '03, '05, '06, '07, '08, '10, '11, '12, '13).
How they got here: River Dell beat Parsippany, 47-18. High Point defeated Jefferson, 56-17.
Breakdown: High Point looking to increase its Sussex County-leading total to 24 with its fifth straight sectional title. Wildcats are a little banged up, but looked strong in Wednesday's semifinal rout of Jefferson. River Dell, which hung tough in a 38-28 loss here in last year's semifinals, in as a decided underdog. There are five bouts that will decide if this one's closer than expected -- 106, 120, 132, 138 and 152 -- with High Point rating as big favorites from 170 through 285. In potential rematches from last year -- Gallo d. Nirchio, 4-1, while Porraspita tf. Kim. Hooker is expected to try and go on a bad ankle, but Cariddi decked Auer in last year's match. 'Cats, who have wrestled a far superior schedule, possess too much firepower up top and win at least three of those key bouts.
Prediction: High Point 40-19. Other winners: Hanover Park (N2), Long Branch (CJ), Delsea (SJ).
North 1 Group 1
3-Emerson-Park Ridge (18-3) at 1-Kittatinny (17-2)
Probable lineups: EPR, So. Paco Robles (28-2), 106; So. Sam Schneider (29-2, D1, R4), 113; Jr. Brian DiGuilmi (25-5), 120; Jr. Andy Smith (14-12), 126; Fr. Brendon Kelly (4-17), 132; Jr. Scott Galdi (22-9, D2), 132-138; Fr. Josh Lewis (17-7), 145; So. Jordan Giacomelli (22-8), 152; Jr. Nick Mazzeo (24-7, D4), 160; Sr. Joey Fisco (2-2), 170; Jr. John Whelan (3-14), 182; Sr. Jules Grom (14-8), 182-195; Jr. Zachary Schechtman (9-10), 195-220; Sr. Robbie Maggiulli (24-0, D2, R3, S7), 195-220; So. Dominick Petillo (4-6).
K, Fr. Kasey Hotz (18-11), 106-113; So. Taylor Molfetto (15-11), 106-113; So. Nick Klinger (26-4, D3) 120; So. Jake VanWingerden (3-5, D3) 126; Sr. Christian Silva (20-11, D2) 126; So. Austin Scrivani (24-6, D1) 132; Sr. Nick West (11-15), 138-145; Jr. Trevor Schutte (0-10), 138-145; Fr. Josh Klimek (9-9), 152-160; Sr. Nick Romyns (17-3, D1, R2) 152-160; Sr. Tyler Parkyn (6-15), 160; Sr. Kieran Gerrity (28-3, D1, R2) 170; Sr. Dylan Wunder (23-8, D2, R4) 182; Sr. Garrett Armstrong (26-5, D1) 195; Sr. Andrew Simpson (21-9), 220; Sr. Tom Smith (22-7, D3), 285.
Sectional titles: Emerson-Park Ridge 8 (1980, '83, '84, '85, '86, '87, '01, '03). Kittatinny 18 (1991, '93, '94, '95, '96, '98, '00, '01, '02, '03, '04, '05, '06, '07, '08, '11, '12, '13).
How they got here: Emerson-Park Ridge beat Pequannock, 36-27. Kittatinny defeated Lenape Valley, 50-12.
Breakdown: Two of the state's all-time winningest coaches hooking up here, as Emerson's Stan Woods (660) and Kittatinny's John Gill (503) have combined for 1,163 wins and 26 sectional titles. The Cougars won the last meeting between these schools -- 31-27 on the road in the North 1, Group 1 final on Feb. 10, 2012. This one doesn't figure to be even remotely close. Kittatinny has wrestled a much tougher schedule and rates the favorite in at least eight weights regardless of the matchups. The Cougars also should rack up a ton of bonus points. Emerson's best shots at wins are 106, 113, 145 and Maggiulli at 195 or 220, and if Mazzeo matches up with Klimek, who recently returned from a collarbone injury. Expect VanWingerden to slide in at 126 for Kittatinny, which will bump through 152. Romyns going for his 100th career victory at home, which is nice. No one honors those special milestones better than the Sussex County school.
Prediction: Kittatinny, 45-17. Other winners: Roselle Park (N2), Bound Brook (CJ) and Paulsboro (SJ).
North 2 Group 4
3-Hunterdon Central (19-5) at 1-Phillipsburg (15-0)
Probable lineups: HC, Fr. Peter Nace (26-6) 106; Fr. Chris Taylor (4-17), 113; Jr. Kyler Rodriguez (18-10, D2), 120; Jr. Hunter Orr (9-18), 126; Sr. Dylan Nace (31-1, D2, R3), 132; Jr. Nick Taylor (16-13), 138; Sr. Collin Boylan (30-2, D2, R3), 145; Sr. Gary Dinmore (30-1, D1, R1, S2), 152; Sr. Matt Suydam (10-12), 160; Jr. Joe Scerbo (25-7), 170; Jr. Nestor Crespo (22-9, D4), 182; Jr. Nick Suk (22-9), 195-220; Sr. Arturo Hernandez (7-10), 195-220; Sr. Dan Hausman (19-13), 285.
P, So. Brandon Paetzell (27-1, D1, R1, S5), 106; So. Tyler Agans (8-13), 113; So. DJ Wissing (18-10), 120; Sr. Tylor Petchonka (13-11, D3), 126; Jr. Steve Friedman (14-12, D4) 132; Jr. Corey Zinsmeister (19-6) 138; Sr. Garrett Wolfinger (11-4), 145-152; Jr. Jimmy Schuitema (20-4, D1, R1) 145-152; Jr. Max Elling (26-4, D1, R2), 152-160; Sr. Broderick Bupivi (21-9, D1, R4) 160-170; Sr. Jake Kocsis (28-2, D2, R3) 170-182; Jr. Tim Hinkle (7-7), 182-195; Jr. Joe Maso (18-6, D2) 195-220; Fr. Drew Horun (18-7), 220-285.
Sectional titles: Hunterdon Central 19 (1980, '81, '82, '83, '84, '87, '88, '89, '93, '94, '95, '97, '98, '99, '00, '03, '10, '11, '13). Phillipsburg 32 (1980, '81, '82, '83, '84, '85, '86, '87, '88, '89, '91, '92, '93, '94, '95, '96, '97, '98, '99, '00, '01, '02, '03, '04, '05, '06, '07, '08, '09, '10, '11, '12).
How they got here: Hunterdon Central beat North Hunterdon, 29-27. Phillipsburg defeated Watchung Hills, 59-12.
Breakdown: P'burg leads the all-time series, 35-7-1, dating to 1962, including a 41-18 win at the Field House in a Skyland Conference clash on Jan. 16. Central scored two victories last season -- 34-30 at The Pit on Jan. 16, 2013, and 30-29 at home in the North 2, Group 4 final to become only the second team to beat P'burg in a sectional final. The Stateliners have won 10 of the last 15 meetings since 2003, but the Red Devils also earned a victory in the 2010 Group 4 semis. This is the seventh postseason meeting -- second in a sectional final -- as the 'Liners won four in Group 4 (1988, '99 and 2000 finals and the semis in '11). This one doesn't figure to be especially close again, despite three wins for the 'Liners decided by two points or fewer -- Wissing d. Rodriguez, 6-4; Bupivi d. Scerbo, 1-0; Horun d. Hausman, 4-2. Maybe Central gets one or two of those, but 145 could go the other way as Boylan beat Schuitema, 2-1, following a 1-0 loss at HWS. Red Devils also ran Peter Nace up to 113, where he lost 7-3 to Agans. P'burg is wrestling on a different level right now.
Prediction: Phillipsburg, 47-15. Other winners: Clifton (N1), Brick Memorial (CJ) and Southern (SJ).
North 2 Group 3
2-Warren Hills (11-10) at 1-Roxbury (14-4)
Probable lineups: WH, Fr. Ryan Mosher (5-20), 106; Fr. Matt Valli (21-7) 113; Fr. Zach Nauta (16-7), 120; Jr. Austin Pidoto (16-12, D3), 126; Jr. Max Nauta (23-5, D1, R1), 132; So. Anthony Roessner (12-15), 138; Sr. Esco Blaylock (6-17), 145; So. Shane Deemer (9-13), 152; Sr. Ryan Ostir (13-11, D4), 160; So. Kurt Nemeth (0-1), 170; Sr. Steve Cleaver (17-7, D3), 182; Sr. Nigel Taylor (6-12), 195; Sr. Ryan Witner (18-8, D2), 220; Jr. Andrew Pacheco (26-2, D1, R2), 285.
R, So. Troy Stanich (24-5, D3), 106; Fr. Richard Reimers (21-7), 113; So. Tanner Morgan (13-14), 120; Sr. Kevin Hernandez (6-3), 126; Sr. Devon LaFranco (24-7, D3, R2), 132; Sr. Jake Legotte (19-11, D2, R2), 138; So. Craig Roumes (16-8), 145; So. Tommy Miller (20-8, D3), 152; Jr. Richard Day (18-11), 160; Jr. Justin Bacilo (5-2), 170; Sr. Dillon Artigliere (31-0, D1, R1, S1), 170; Sr. Peter Sutton (12-9, D2), 182; Jr. Clayton O'Leary (15-15), 195; Sr. Adam Amadori (2-8), 220; Sr. Anthony Infermo (7-18), 285.
Sectional titles: Warren Hills 5 (1982, '90, '97, '98, '07). Roxbury 4 (1983, '96, '04, '11).
How they got here: Warren Hills beat Mendham, 45-24. Roxbury defeated Scotch Plains, 34-24.
Breakdown: If you thought last year's matchup in the semifinals -- a 31-30 win for Warren Hills -- was a classic, get ready for Part II. Coin flip could be very important, as the Gaels will likely try to run Artigliere up on Cleaver for a chance to win 170 and 182. There are several pivotal bouts -- Valli-Reimers at 113, Pidoto-Hernandez at 126, M. Nauta-LaFranco at 132 and Ostir-Day at 160, are a few. Blue Streaks are slight favorites in three of those -- 126 looks like a toss -- and may need all four, plus bonus points up top where they're heavy favorites at 220 and 285. Hills also has the edge at 120, but Roxbury is favored at 106, 138, 145, 152, wherever Artigliere is with the other a toss, and 195. Streaks may only win six bouts and still take this, but it is really tight.
Prediction: Warren Hills, 30-28. Other winners: Paramus (N1), Brick Township (CJ), Clearview (SJ).
