The seventh annual Henry Boresch Duals will be contested on Saturday at Newton High School. The event, named in honor of the legendary Braves coach, has become one of the more popular tournaments on the regular-season calendar in the Hunterdon-Warren-Sussex area.
South Plainfield, the 2011 Group 3 runner-up, headlines the field and is among four new teams in this year's tournament, along with Morris Knolls, Secaucus and Livingston. Host Newton has competed in five of the previous six championship matches, winning four.
Cost is $8 for adults and $5 for students. Weigh-ins will be held from 7 to 8:30 a.m. Wrestling starts at 9 a.m. All times approximate as a new round will begin following the completion of the previous session.
