Breakdown: P'burg won both meetings a year ago, including the sectional semifinals. These teams figure to meet again down the road. North's lineup is in a state of flux right now as 138 and 152 are question marks. P'burg is still without Johnson, who missed the King of the Mountain due to disciplinary reasons. Without him, this one could be a bit closer. North will only be favored at 120, 145 (slightly) and 182. Key bouts are 126, 132, 145, 170, 195 and 220. Stateliners won head-to-head meetings in two at KOM -- Zinsmeister's 6-3 victory over Moncourtois and Bupivi's 3-0 win over Loftus. Those bouts at KOM were close and North is hoping to reverse those outcomes. The Lions would need four, possibly five of the key bouts to have a shot. You always have to like the chances for a big upset in a bout or two when these teams get together. I think the 'Liners have the opportunity for more bonus points and win more of the close ones.
Prediction: Phillipsburg, 37-20.
