Forwards Kat Francis and Tori Crans each scored goals to power Voorhees in a 2-1 win over Phillipsburg on Tuesday in a Skyland Conference Raritan Division field hockey showdown at the Phillipsburg Athletic Complex.
Voorhees (5-2 overall, 4-2 division), ranked No. 3 in the Open Mike area, extended its winning streak over No. 7 Phillipsburg (4-5, 2-5) to 11 straight in the series, including a 1-0 win over P'burg in the season opener on Sept. 13. The Stateliners' last win over the Vikings was 2-1 at Voorhees on Oct. 23, 2006.
Coach Taylor Webb's Voorhees team rebounded nicely from a 1-0 loss to No. 1 Warren Hills on Saturday. The Vikings host the Blue Streaks in a rematch on Thursday in Glen Gardner.
Crans' first-half goal proved to be the game-winner against P'burg -- the sophomore's team-leading third goal of the season. Goalie Kimmie Pianucci made nine saves in the victory.

Wallkill Valley 2, Hackettstown 0 -- Kylee Kulsar and Casey Pustelniak scored goals and Brittany Harlos assisted on both to lead the No. 8 Rangers (7-2), who sit atop the Northwest Jersey Athletic Conference Freedom Division standings at 5-0.
Belvidere 5, North Plainfield 0 -- Senior forward Tiffany McKenna scored a pair of goals, including one on a penalty stroke, to pace the No. 4 County Seaters.
Ridge 3, Hunterdon Central 2 (OT) -- Taylor Barrett scored a pair of goals for No. 9 Central (4-6), which defeated Ridge, 5-2, on Sept. 13.
Kittatinny 2, Roxbury 1 (OT) -- Savannah Quinn and Michaela Virga scored to lead the Cougars (3-5), who have won two of their last three games.
Pingry 6, North Hunterdon 0 -- Goalie Felicia Heard made nine saves for the Lions (1-9) in the loss.
