Voorhees (22-8), which won its first title since 2015, will next face defending state champion South Plainfield in the Group 3 semifinals on Sunday at 2 p.m. The winner will meet either Pascack Valley or Delsea in the title match at 7 p.m.
The Vikes trailed, 27-21, before sweeping the final three bouts. Scott Fernandes started the comeback with a 4-0 decision over Dylan Budnik, a district runner-up. Lewis Fernandes put Voorhees ahead to stay with a 48-second pin at 220, setting the stage for junior Sam Huff's match-clinching 3-1 win at 285.
Colby Koshinski (113), Aidan Taylor (120), Hunter Rinehart (126) and Joe Swiston (132) set an early tone as Voorhees jumped out to an 18-4 lead through five bouts.

Central Jersey, Group 5
Junior Vincent Romaniello (145) started things off with a big win as Hunterdon Central won six of the first nine bouts, but Howell proved to be too much down the stretch, as it won the final five to pull out a 29-20 victory in the Central Jersey, Group 5 final at the Field House.
Howell (30-0), ranked No. 3 in the New Jersey Writers Association Top 20, will seek its second straight Group 5 title on Sunday. The Rebels, who scored a thrilling 28-27 win over Hunterdon Central in last year's state final, will take on West Orange, while Southern will square off against Watchung Hills in the other semifinal at 9 a.m.
Central (22-2), whose only other loss this season was 29-28 to No. 6 Emerson-Park Ridge (27-0) on Jan. 20, was in good shape early on against Howell.
Romaniello scored a 10-6 decision over highly regarded freshman Paul Jakub, while senior Kevin Ciresa earned a 9-0 major at 160 for his 99th career win. Lukas Bakerian's 8-1 win over Rashuan Hansford at 195 started a four-bout run that gave the Red Devils, who were seeking their 22nd sectional title, a 20-13 lead through with five to go.

North 1, Group 3
Senior ace Robert Gennat was among just four winners for Sparta, which was denied in its bid for back-to-back sectional titles in a 50-18 loss to Pascack Valley in the North 1, Group 3 final at Sparta High School.
Sparta (16-7), which won its third title last season and the program's first since 2000, was down 12-0 before Gennat's pin at 285 pounds in the third bout got the Spartans on the board. Gennat (31-2), who normally competes at 195, picked up his 117th career win, ranking him third on the school's all-time list.
Pascack Valley (22-4), which will next face Delsea in the Group 3 semifinals on Sunday, won five of the final six bouts, including a key 9-3 decision from state qualifier Matt Beyer at 138, to seal the program's first sectional title.
Sophomore Cooper Stewart (113), sophomore Garrett Stewart (132) and junior Rocco Gignatelli (145) were the only other winners for the Spartans.
